Giuriati Group, a Padua-based company specializing in the development and marketing of food supplements, nutraceuticals and personal care products under its own brand and third-party brands in the pharmacy channel, recently announced the acquisition of 100% of Up Pharma, a Mantua-based company active in the marketing of food supplements and nutraceutical products under its own brand.
This acquisition represents an important step in the strategic plan of Giuriati Group, launched by the private equity fund Gradiente II (managed by Gradiente Sgr) and the Giuriati family, aimed at creating a reference group in terms of completeness of offer within the supplement market.
With this acquisition, Giuriati Group exceeds 40 million in turnover, integrating its portfolio with specialist products promoted through a widespread network of medical-scientific informants managed by Up Pharma.
The agreement was reached with the founding partners of Up Pharma, Marzio Truffelli, Maurizio Celani and Roberto Regonati. Truffelli, in particular, will remain as CEO of Up Pharma and will reinvest in Giuriati Group, to support and share the group's development plan.
"This transaction is an important step in Giuriati Group's strategic project and aims to further strengthen its positioning in the pharmacy channel" - added Fabrizio Grasso, partner of Gradiente SGR.
With this move, Giuriati Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality products and excellent services to its customers. This acquisition marks another exciting chapter in Giuriati's success story in the nutraceutical sector.
